Android Studio: SDK Manager [setting it all up]

Hi Folks, I've watched the videos and tried to figure out the steps, but it appears I may be doing something incorrectly when jumping into the android arena. In understanding everything correctly, i wanted to be sure I have set up/installed all the accurate files and chosen the correct options. To begin, can you check out these two screen shots? 1) SDK Manager: https://www.dropbox.com/s/77ptclx54qb9b1x/sdk%20manager%201.png?dl=0 2) SDK Manager (ctd): https://www.dropbox.com/s/ubt5dzwi55vaqek/sdk%20mnager%202.png?dl=0 I am using Android Studio version: 1.1.0 thanks!!

Thanks Mark - Yes, I get a whole host of errors when running. I believe I may need to read-up on current resources out there. At least the correct version is installed - so I'm happy with that. In one of David's original videos: "Android Learning Path, Lesson 1: understanding eclipse," when selecting the emulator, he mentions that BT 2.0 apps work on the Google API. For testing purposes, to get things running, which virtual device in Android Studio 1.1.0 do you use? thanks again!!

lol - of course, I found out my error. I was trying to do this in the self hosted control panel. Therefore, I believe using this package, with android studio was causing the difficulties. Through BT CP, my basic 3-screen app worked fine. This is the emulator I'm using: Galaxy Nexus API 22 2 720 × 1280: xhdpi 22 Google APIs x86 1 GB c

Yep, I think you're right. I don't think the code for creating an Android Studio packages is there yet. But, you can import the older (BTv3, not BTv2) packages into Studio. Check out my YouTube channel for a video on how to do it! Mark
