You know, if there is a person to meet around San Francisco, it has to be Sir David Book (his name doesn't actually have the sir). He runs the operations here on Buzztouch. I was lucky enough to get him here in the UK a few months ago when we had our European Buzztouch thingy. He's the guy on the right of my icon! He's in Monterey, which is about one and a half hours away from San Fran.

Ha ha… it’s kinda funny to see the reaction to your post Elaine!!! ;-) For the folks who don’t know Elaine, she has published over 200 apps to the app store and runs the successful company Chocolate Lab Apps http://thechocolatelabapps.com Correct me if I’m wrong Elaine, but I believe you developed your first app two or three years ago here on Buzztouch. You made it during your Christmas holidays and resigned your corporate job soon afterwards when the dollars came rolling in! What a fabulous success story! I hope you get to meet David in January and perhaps you and I will meet some time in the course of 2014. Have a great Christmas! Derval

Elaine... 200 Apps???????? That is crazy. I'm struggling to get my forth app out in over two years here. You must come to next year's BuzzDay Oxford. Depending on how it goes, it might become a weekend meetup. Just possibly.

I started with BT probably nearly 3 years ago... made my 1st android app in 7 days, published on new years eve. Over the next 6 months part-time I published about 30 horse apps, android & iOS. The fact that I made money from these blew my mind. About 18 months ago then decided I couldn't miss this opportunity so quit the job to do apps full-time. It's been such an adventure and none of it would have happened if I hadn't found BT.
