We're starting to see Google move towards Apple's platform in many ways, first the S6, then Android Studio, and now this. There's no shame, both companies have taken from each other, I'm just glad that Google's stepping it up the direction Apple is going, should make things better for us, in many many ways, and for them too. An annual fee helps keep things current, so many apps on Play that are stagnant, a wee token fee or lose them may help in the long run.
