Some may have noticed that the Mosaic plugin has been removed from the plugin market. I was asked to remove this plugin as the images of aliens disturbed quite a few members of the forum. After over 400 emails requesting this abomination of a plugin be removed, I reluctantly gave in. Personally I felt the screen shots where fine and indicated a passion I have for all things extra terrestrial. I have loved the thoughts of all the wonders of the universe and hoping quietly that that cuddly alien ET would use his magic finger on me. I love scary aliens too in fact I thrive on them now, but it hasn't always been that way . I tried for years to watch Alien probably about 10, I used to get scared and turn it off half way through. No not the chest buster seen that was pretty cool, it is when he is in the shaft and the morion detector keeps bleeping and bleeping arrgghhhhh. Well I got over that and love the franchise even the predator spin offs. Mork of Mork and Mindy not a massive fan but what an egg. The X files also wetted my appetite Mulder and Scully chasing things down, smoking man causing chaos. The truth is most definitely out there. But to be absolutely honest my true movie passion is Zombies maybe my next plugin will have some zombie screenshots like the walking dead, or dawn of the dead but not world war Z brad pitts face does my head in. Anyway this has just been some churlish rubbish to actually see who will read to the bottom and realise that the Mosaic plugin has not been removed from such. It is just currently unavailable to be downloaded by people who haven't purchased it yet. Sorry but after some testing I will release it shortly. For the few that have purchased the beautiful Mosaic plugin, if you update your self hosted or go into the buzz touch control panel you will see some updates. I apologise now with it being the most diverse plugin for features it also has a lot of settings. It has everything it used to have but has a nicer gallery which you can store your local images and url images, all you have to do is set it to image in the child item and will become a gallery, to make it all a gallery you are best using the gallery option, this is a requirement if you use the data url to Flickr. The flickr settings and URL are the same as every other gallery plugin. Another new feature is RSS Feeds this will now take a RSS feed again set the mosaic to rss add the rss feed in the control panel, if there are no images random colours will be displayed. For the use of data urls I have added the option for you to not add mosaic sizes and have made templates that you can customise in code so it will make pretty patterns, I have preset some box formations but have left a few custom sizes for you to hard code your own. Other fixes iPad looks the same as iPhone layout. A new paged option, if you set this to pages it will compress the mosaics so if there is only enough for one page it will fit perfectly, instead of overlap or spaces iphone5 iPhone 4 and iPad, slightly skews the square to a rectangle. Also if set to paged and is more than one page it pages duh so no free scroll it looks pretty sweet actually. Any way I have no time to write tutorials if you don't use data urls it's easy, if you do just try and get the gist I will help if I can. If most people give the thumbs up will release early. This plugin is live in the App Store with another member who was the guinea pig. Remember we are not alone.

Congrats! You showed your age in spectacular fashion and every tv show or movie you mentioned are deep in my roots also. If I was to throw a spanner in the works it would be to use Instagram over Flickr although photographers would probably use Flickr. You know what Kittsy, do both maybe. I'll be buying this. Missed the glamour!

@kittsy What app in the app store has this new version of the plugin?

I think Instagram has an RSS feed pipe it through the RSS feed. Also scringo is integrated into tgd gallery's just need to unconventional search for scringo in project. Obviously you need to add it initially. In the app above you will see the comments and likes

WOW! This RSS feed update is beautiful. Takes the whole tableview look you see almost every RSS feed use to a new level. The fact you can use your own tiles and then also add an RSS feed to the same screen = BRILLIANT! I'm looking at the code and curious about the custom sizes we can create you mention- Would I just make a new NSARRAY and say call it a customPattern4 and then it will use the values you put in there. I noticed custompattern2 and 3 are the same, so thinking this is your way of showing us how to build our own? If it works that way, then I add this and then want to connect it to the control panel to say have CustomPattern5, 6, 7, etc.... When you update the plugin in the future, I'll have to re-add that html code? Fabulous work here, awesome upadate and new functionality. Thanks!

Yeah just change them to your custom patterns. if you wanted more than 3 customs, you would need to mod the control panel and add the logic in Xcode, nothing stopping you changing the presets to your needs. Tha array just uses the mosaic sizes (0 is 4x4, 15 is 1 x 1). They will automaticly repeat if the number of tiles is greater than the array size also

Glad you like it, My goal with this is to stop Frankenstein apps. If you use normal tables then use that layout throughout the app. So now there is a gallery a menu and RSS feeds, built in social sharing and appstore links. the main stay of most buzztouch apps. And for one price.
