Even more reason to be in control of one's own destiny. Do those Push Notifications the harder way, on your own hardware.

yeah i saw that yesterday.. not that i mind but as always reading the terms of service and how they use the data is always important to note. the same with socialize being acquired, i think it could improve the infrastructure and help developers in the long run. but the fine print is something that shouldn't be ignored.

Interesting. They just recently yanked Facebook out of their SDK too. They have the segmented channels feature for PN and that has value to me still. It'll be a while before BT has a back end with that kind of functionality for PN - if ever.... The few clients I've tried to push that Facebook login thru Parse have all balked at it. No one wants to use their Facebook (or Twitter) account to login to anything anymore. does that happen to you guys?
