After almost 2 months of working through Apple's review process, my latest app project has finally been approved. Introducing ... The Church App! With The Church App, worshippers can locate churches in their area. For churches that have registered, a complete set of interactive utilities is available, including prayer requests, worship checkins, Bible text, photo directory, push notifications, class and ministry signups, and more! This app began with the Buzztouch core, but has undergone a significant number of transformations. Two of the major ones include Facebook's "Pop" animation and segmented push notifications using the Buzztouch push notification system. Churches that sign up can send out push notifications to anyone that has loaded their church through the app, but will not go to people that have loaded other churches and not theirs. Users can even set which churches they want to receive notifications from. Another great feature is the ability to manage your entire church's settings through the app. No need to logon to a control panel through a website. Instead, all settings are controlled through the app, including which features (aka screens) to turn on or off, which icons and icon labels to use for those features, and what relative data to set for each feature (such as the email address prayer requests get sent to). Churches can even add additional webpage screens to the app with the click of a button, setting a custom icon and label. Searching for "The Church App" let to 2100 hits on the app store... Searching by your name, I was able to get it right away :) The search map screen looks awesome! Really like the markers and animated upper left icon. I sent a comment via the app about searching in other locations- but is just as simple as panning map to the location and then search again. - Nice!

lol Niraj. yes Chris, knowing what you went through, it will be good therapy to get it off your chest. In a nutshell they were being douchebags.... we should be able to reject safari and itunes under their reasons.

Thanks Sil - the animation effects were thanks to Facebook's new POP physics-based animation engine. You can do some cool stuff with it if you know what you're doing.

Impressive app, how did find all those churches? I don't think you would gone one by one. Keep up the good work. Adam

Adam, They are picked by by the google API. You are able to do it via various categories... say for instance bicycle shops ;) Kristen

Joe - I just deleted the app and reinstalled it, and don't get this message. Was there a particular screen you were navigating to when you saw that? Maybe try again?

no it was on initial install. I am trying to work through the app to see if i get it again
