High user profile points, zero apps published?

Hey all, Just out of curiosity, I'm looking at a few members with high points, quite a few shows zero apps published. 1. is this because they are self hosting their apps so its not showing in their profiles? 2. are published apps created on the BT server the ones that show up in the users profiles? I'm prepping 40+ apps right now via my own self hosted BT server, clients of mine want a presence in the app world utilizing the content from the websites I built for them. I'd want to showcase my journey using BT and share my development progression with the community, so if apps in the user's profile only show up via the BT hosted plan, how would I go about adding it here if I'm building them out on my own domain? Cheers Ed Also, I learn better by sharing my knowledge with others as well as my workflow diving into the app development and providing case studies as well as real world projects/clients to help close deals. Here's my Buzztouch ready setup: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/uon0alj0om5db9r/7D72RpwNu6 Since the first item in the Application begins with the App Icon, this is what I do to convince my clients this is just the beginning. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hvezfr5p3e1vayc/TvUlgEu00o Dedicating this whole weekend to learning Buzztouch and sharing much more.

HI Ed. Login to Buzztouch and on your account page select "published apps." You can share the DL link to your apps there. There are members in the Top 25 who have several apps in the markets but do not have the links posted. The points are given for the number of posts on the forum, plugins written, BTU quizzes passed, etc.

Wow, thanks Red Dog didn't even notice that. Just downloaded your Pets 411, always looking for services for my 2 Golden's. Thanks for the help.

Thanks nadthevlad. Successful businesses are built by a team, I see everyone here in the BT community as classmates and the more seasoned ones as professors. We get to where we are because someone has passed their knowledge onto others. Really excited and thankful I found BT.

Welcome Ed! Saw your work so far and I think your graphic design is top notch and perhaps you can give back to the community with some of your tutorials on how to make icons "classy" Here are some resources that might help you along your journey. I personally gathered 100 members out of the over 200,000 members and counting we have and posted the apps on a public domain. These members public have announced their apps but I have ran into several that do not due to security issues.. and private business...after awhile you will be able to go through the app stores and say "yup" made with Buzztouch! (have a feeling that will change soon with our new upgrade) Here are some more apps to look at : http://btplugins.com/100/1.html http://btplugins.com/100/2.html http://btplugins.com/100/3.html http://btplugins.com/100/4.html Also there are a couple of sites I can't stress enough how important to research to help with your business. http://idevdepot.com/ http://bt-addons.com/ https://buzztouchmods.com/ http://www.myskylla.com/ (dated but worth mentioning) Also get familiar with all the great offering THIS site has by going to https://www.buzztouch.com/account/events.php https://www.buzztouch.com/resources/ Welcome to the gang and look forward to your creations! Sheri

Thanks Sheri, I've checked out the links, and have been exploring all the webinars, training's and bt resources. I can't view the videos from this page, especially the latest one, is there a youtube link. https://www.buzztouch.com/account/events.php I'm looking forward to sharing what I can to give back to the community. Best Ed

Nice work, Ed! Everyone should take a few minutes to fill out their developer profiles. It could help you sell apps or services to other BT developers. Plus, we want to see your creations!

Thanks Sheri & Susan, who knows maybe I'll make it to the home page case studies. I'm all fired up and getting ready but am concerned about waiting not waiting for v3.0 and how it effects my selfhosted server I had Danny setup for me last week.

Danny is amazing! I have been here since 1.4 1.5 and beyond .....and any advice I can give is don't wait for the new updates do it now! Not sure about the steps if you set up with self-hosting so late in the game and new one come out might want to write Stephen about the terms how they will handle that issue [email protected] It's relatively a new service but the folks are pretty flexible on requests I am sure they will head you in the right direction. Keep in mind when any new updates happen here or on xcode and android products give it a bit before update to get the bugs worked out especially handling clients :) Hope that helps :) You must be up late too but hey we have 1 gained back because the time change! (justification of buzztouch addiction) Welcome to the club :)!

Wow! You're teaching us on how to construct the material such that it is readily evident that you mobile-ready! Keep sharing … And we'll have to meet up since we are in the same county :-) -- Niraj
