View per app (monthly)

Hi, I don't understand what the view per app (monthly) means?

Thank you

If you are using v1.5 and you are getting 500k views per month it is a huge strain on the BT servers for a free product.

If you have an app that is hitting higher marks than 500k hits per month you would be able to add more pipe as it were but there will more than likely be a cost.

Using BT Server, hosted yourself, removes this limitation.

500k a month is a lot of hits, if you are getting that you can probably afford a few bucks!

Again welcome to BT!

Hi @MadRod,

View per app is the number of times the Report to Cloud is pinged for updates, and the Configuration Data information pulled down. You can eliminate this by taking your app offline (see buzztouch.com/resources/ for a tutorial).

A big alligator gobbles up your pet dog, so I hear.

Shocking! There I was, in the kitchen minding my own business, looked out the window, and there was the dog getting dragged away. What was really bizzare was that I was nowhere near the 500k monthly limit!

Alligators, don't trust 'em.
