what is buzztouch??

Is it a multi millon dollar corporation and what does the buzztouch building look like?how many people are on the bt development team?has buzztouch gotten any offers from millionaires if it is not a big company?how many people are living off of buzztouch apps and are you just selling apps or do you have clients?how many bt users have office, fast food jobs,or other jobs to support themselves?after adding plugins to your app what other work do you need to do yourself to make a successful app?

Unemployed stay at home dad here at the moment. Worked for a web & app development company for a couple of years, and before that worked for Adobe on Princess Cruise Lines teaching photoshop classes to passengers on board their ships on sea days. Mostly just teaching old people how to take the red eye out of their photos and email them home, lol. Well, ok, I had advanced classes too, but still... Loved it. Worked a 6 hour shift 3 days a week, and was a full passenger the rest of the time. Would still be doing it if it wasn't for my daughter. As far as app sales, I have over a dozen apps in the App Store and a dozen BT plugins, and combined they average maybe $300 a month total, if that. I do private contract apps for companies on the side (not using BT), and have had some pretty big name clients, but in the last few years, those contracts are pretty few and far between because of all the competition. I've had customers like maxim, Sirius/xm, the art of charm, and actor Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad... But most of those were in the hayday of apps, 2008-2010ish. Bryan Cranston was just this past year, but the rest were several years ago. White label app design has gone down to about 1 contract a year for me personally.

Yep. White label project, so can't name it in the forum, but email me for a "random" picture or two. ;) I dealt mostly with his assistant, Tyra, but was able to speak to mr Cranston on one phone call for 21 minutes about the project. He's very friendly, but it's eerie talking to him because it really is like you are talking to Walter white, with that distinct voice and manner of speaking that he has.

MacApple: I know the answers but Ive noticed alot of people dont understand alot about app development. They're not stupid they just dont understand.not just phone apps but web apps, etc.I was hoping people give a little bit to help them understand more and hopefully ease their frustration. But this post is kinda fail, lol, because only two of the greats jumped on this so far(You and Angry). So they can understand the time, dedication it takes to make anything great. David Book reminds me of Steve Jobs in way of revolutionary products.Plus how down to earth he his.If you remember seeing the movie "Jobs", when I see that part where Ashton Kutcher is hacking away on that little computer, that reminds me of David Book.About to really show the world. He doesnt brag about children and others he helps he just lives his life to the fullest. Its all good, everyone will understand better someday... I remember when I first came on buzztouch I couldnt believe everyone was so nice and helpful. As time went by I noticed everyone werent rich developers or even that experienced but they were becoming the best. All of yall are great! -AngryNinja, thats cool!

For me, well I arrived late in the game - been in IT for over 25 years, with the last 15 as a consultant specialising in Storage and Virtualisation. Been on BT a couple of weeks, have 3 apps on Google Play Store which I'm proud of but child's play to the more seasoned pro's on here for sure!! I just love the feeling of getting something out there, something that others may find a little joy using. Certainly under no illusions about the financial side of it, having spend a few hundred already just using plugins (and trying to troubleshoot them too)! Android only as thats my bag - trying to learn as I go but just really enjoying the whole process and of course the community here on BT which to be frank really makes it all worth while. Rob.

Aren't these stories from the 'Introduce Myself' section? You hear some great stuff on those.
