I had the great pleasure to meet David this weekend. I was totally inspired and it has resulted in the 2014 App Summit, which will be held near the fastnet rock in Co. Cork, Ireland this summer. All BTers are invited!

Late on this and on my way BACK to San Francisco for an early morning flight. But, I had to make sure to say that Elaine is uber-cool!!! I finally got to meet her after years of missed chances. We had a great lunch at a fancy joint on Fisherman's Wharf. She's super stubborn and insisted on picking up the bill. I tried and tried but gave up when I thought she was going to literally kick my ass right in front of everyone. Geez, Elaine's one tough cookie! So laughing. I'm gonna do all I can to get to Ireland for her App Summit this summer. Look for some details (from her) when some dates are organized. Stoked.

If it's August, I'm going. We might want to co-operate with my big Oxford thing in mid September. This year will be much bigger than last year's, which will be a big challenge.

OK, looks like this is starting to come together. It will be a small invite only (would love to see lots of BT people there!) weekend in Cork, Ireland near the end of June. Important: This is NOT a normal app conference weekend. There will be no speakers. Prepare to relax, have fun, refocus and network. You will share knowledge in peer to peer learning sessions and plan your business strategy. All attendees must prepare a 5 minute presentation (without powerpoint) on their 2014 app business. Each talk will be followed by a short Q&A. What you will experience: The world famous famous Irish hospitality, unbridled Irish charm and a lot of kick ass global appreneurs. Think Guinness, trad music sessions, speed networking, surprises, the incredible countryside of West Cork and a weekend you won’t forget. Do I really have to give a talk? Yes, everyone who attends must give a 5 minutes free style talk on their current app business plans & challenges.
