submitted app as iPhone only, can it be changed later?

I have submitted my app to the appstore as iPhone only. I'm making changes so that it will be universal. Do I need to resubmit my app as an update?

Yip, you do indeed. When you do the new one remember to test on iPad simulator, change the icon sizes, spacing etc.

The beauty of BT is that you can setup the app up to be universal, all those settings large device, small device etc. Why code two apps when one will do? Things to watch for are how custom HTML and such like look, what looks sweet on an iphone may not scale well on iPad, you can of course alter the css or html to scale to screen and so on, Stopped smoking 24 hrs ago, anyone want a fight? Got an electric shock in my house as well, Friday yet? I've seen many apps with the 2x view and while it works it kind of annoys me (not due to lack of nicotine) to see the app in small size then the x2 is a bit, well just x2. Did I mention I stopped smoking and just had an electric shock?

Been asked to do an existing iphone app in ipad format.I am going back through app to make it correct for the iPad and its taking twice as long as if I would have done if I would have done it at first. At time I feel that wisdom is not increasing with my age. Good luck MacApple on quitting smoking they say the first bit is the hardest, but I dont think electric shock therapy(ECT) is the answer. I think the ECT is your Celtic blood seeking a tougher challenge than some dried leaves wrapped in paper.

i find the lack of an ipad to play and tinker with is stalling me out on developing for ipad. i'm having a tough time measuring out the menus and screens to get icons/pictures in the proper place. like my header image isn't the same size as the menu. But how many pixels is the default BT memu and how to account for padding... is there some guide for image sizes *Not on the Apple website*? i'm working from this spec i saw there: iPad resolution is 1024 x 768 pixels Mac - former marlboro cowboy here. 7 years since. good luck. go cold turkey. you just gotta get past the first 3 days without. after that you'll see a new perspective. stay busy. avoid the triggers.

If my app is still in the review process, can I resubmit with a working universal app?
