Nice one, took the bottom code, will have a peek when I get the garden dirt of my hands, been out for hours, almost too hot now! Have a great weekend and will post back once I get the app opened. Hot in London today?

Got L9R46H47X6NM, great trekking map. I noticed screen transitions give a quick "flashing effect" and jump transition is not smooth to the next screen. Is it jquery ? Great call with the Checklists. Great idea. They keep selected items. My checklist doesn't seem to keep data entered. I entered beer, whiskey, when I come back to the screen, no data is there. Same with notepad. iPhone 4s, iOS 5.1.1 Some great ideas, hope this helps.

This was the first time I was early enough to get a promo code that works but I forgot which one I used (I think the 9NL... one). And as someone who has done the annapurna trek I was glad to get this one. I have most of the same comments as Paddy. The checklist seems to keep items checked but I can't seem to add anything to "my checklist". I kept typing in beer but then there was no button to press to add it to any checklist. And like Paddy, nothing would save in notepad. This definitely looks like jquery, the navigation bar scrolls with the menu except for photos and more. Also, the menu on "more" doesn't scroll. That may be the intended effect but all the other menus scroll. Overall it looks good, can't wait to get back out there!

Thanks for the comments- really helpful. Yes lots of it is done with JQuery (JQTouch) so that is why you get the flashing when you first use it. Shouldn't happen once you have viewed a screen once. May change that on next update. I am a bit concerned about the Notepad and My Checklist though... they use SQLite and should save whatever you enter perpetually... works great on my iPhone and in the simulator...? @mutzy when you enter an item into My Checklist you need to press return on the keypad to add it. Then it should save it perpetually. On my iPhone it saves items even if I update the app. Same with the notepad. The Gear Checklist only saves what you have clicked using cookies so. Your checks will stay as long as you have the app open (even in the background) but the list is cleared if you close the app completely. Just checked My Checklist and Notepad again and working fine on my iPhone still. I added those in my last update and haven't had any complaints... very confusing...?

I took the second code. I need to add Scringo to some of my apps so I am looking forward to viewing it.

@st726 here you go - T3JYWET67MRR And here is one more if anyone wants a look: NJ4MYPRY7HP6 I would be very grateful if anyone who has downloaded it could have a play and tell me if the "Notepad" and "My Checklist" functions are working for them. Anything you enter in these sections should be saved even if you completely close the app. I have tested this on my iPhone, iPad and in the Xcode simulator and they work great, but a couple of others have had problems (see above). Thank you!

I downloaded the app during the first go round when you gave out codes. this time I updated the app and my notepad list disappeared. As for Scringo.. well it briefly shows up and later it disappears.. For users, I'm not sure they will notice.Unless there is an indicator arrow that is always present on the left or right side.. Maybe it was my ipad - I don't know.. I find GetSocialized a bit better because the bottom toolbar is there always so it draws attention to the particular screen/plugin that you want interaction..

I hear you mysps but GetSocialized costs does it not and the beauty of Scringo - in part - is the notification type slide in to hide or keep in view. GetSocialized uses much needed screen space all the time does it not? All a question of preference I suppose.

Yeah I guess once Scringo updates for the iPad and get things stabilized I'll of course give it a go. Yes, GetSocialized is displayed where you place it inside of the app. If you make a custom plugin screen, it will show there or add it to a particular screen type it will only display there. I guess its comes down to how you want to implement either sdk!

Hi Guys. I wanted to ask a favour of anyone who has downloaded this app. Could you just let me know if the "Notepad" and "My Checklist" functions are woking ok? Anything you enter into these sections should be saved in the app permanently. Woks fine in my devices but not in others it seems (see above). Thanks very much!

Just checked and great news, I'm not going to forget the beer ! It worked fine this time. I still have the same problem with the notepad. I'll check again a little later.

newbie question: when I go to itunes, how do I put in a code. I know these are all taken, but in the future, I only see option to buy the app, not to use a code?

In the home screen (house icon) in Itunes, you should see use a code up to the right. It's also down at the very bottom in the footer.
