Is this an issue with me? or is it the iPad? Never noticed that before, then again never used the stripes. Will look again and see if I am doing something in the theme settings as default. Do you really need the stripes? If so you an just create a background image in two sizes, one for iPad and one for iPhone. Comments I just tested this and got the same result. Hmm. If not try a wee search in the old Google (other search engines are available) for high def stripe images or similar. Found some sweet backgrounds myself. Comments I hear you, stripes look sharp.
