Background colour on iPad

When i choose the native striped background for a background colour, it looks fine on the iPhone but on the iPad, it just shows a black background... Is this an issue with me? or is it the iPad?

I just tested this and got the same result. Hmm. Never noticed that before, then again never used the stripes. Will look again and see if I am doing something in the theme settings as default. Do you really need the stripes? If so you an just create a background image in two sizes, one for iPad and one for iPhone.

I hear you, stripes look sharp. You make any progress making a sharp background image? If not try a wee search in the old Google (other search engines are available) for high def stripe images or similar. Found some sweet backgrounds myself.

could find any with the faint stripes in the background. some were just too crazy and loud. i found an image with a slight gradient like i liked and decided to use that. shame about the stripes, do you think its a buzztouch issue or an ipad compatability issue?
