Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Approved!

Ok, first Buzztouch app! Finally! Persistence Persistence Persistence. Dyslexic, Over 40, and a Women...all excuses gone! To all that are struggling, I am the poster child it can be done. Do not give up! As a former Army nurse, I decided to take my 25 plus years of healthcare experience and dive into my techie hobby full force. Everyone at Buzztouch has been more than helpful. What you are doing here is incredible and I can't thank you enough. This quiz was developed after teaching CNA classes, with not finding enough accurate study material I decided to make my own. See if you are smarter than a nursing assistant....a job that is not recognized enough. Below are some promo codes: If they don't work, email me and I will personally send you one. http://tinyurl.com/beacnaapp http://tinyurl.com/beacnaipad XYFJ9RJJ47TM 773TRYX9RNY6 TRFKFELE3ARM RER4W6A693JM H7WYNLF9MEWA - Sheri

Whoo-hoo...My two cents... a) Give it a few days to work out any kinks. I'm guessing lots of folks will LOVE this app. b) INCREASE the price from .99 to 4.99. You'de be surprised at how much more perceived value apps above .99 have. You worked hard on this content, 4.99 is chump change for the folks that really want and need this content. c) Earn 4 times more than you would at .99 on the folks that value the app :-) d) Promote, Promote, Promote. Consider nursing schools, nursing blogs, nursing magazines, etc. ALL future nurses should be happy to support you while you try to support them.

Believe me your shiny two cents mean a lot! Took your advice and just bumped the price up to $4.99. Yes there is a lot of demand for this. Thank you for the compliments. I have marketing strategy that would involve in-app purchases down the road. I have a current website @ lpntravel.com that brings another niche all together and that is travel nursing. I have been promoting this app on my email list with them and already have had positive results. The more I read the more it makes sense is do what you know and love. That we all are experts in something and there are a lot of people craving information. This stuff is revolutionary and Mr. David you should be very proud of what your dream came into...the possibilities using Buzztouch is limitless. Your dream is opening doors for so many others. Please don't forget that! ..... Big huggs and hip hip hoorays! Owe you a very cold beer and so much more!

Good for you Sheri! and I agree with David on the price stuff. Think about what you do at Wal-Mart and Costco...In your mind the higher priced stuff is "better quality" even when we can look at the "cough syrup" for example and see that the name brand and the generic BOTH have the exact same amount of active ingredient. We ALL do it. Something else to consider: Get an aweber account and send your customers to a squeeze page either on a website or one the app itself. once you have their email (through aweber) you can send them messages over and over through an autoresponder series and get them to buy again and again...or turn curious customers into sold clients. I use this technique with the rental properties that I own and I have not put a for rent sign in a yard or run an add in the newspaper since about 2008. Usually my homes are rented within a week of the time that I send out the email blast letting the list know that a home is ready to rent. Good luck with it! ~Al~

awesome. looks great and very useful. no question the CNA is overlooked. the hours healthcare prof like that work just amaze me. i'd play up that Army nurse angle too. and i love it when Dave comes in here to remind us to market/promote ourselves. i'm trying to link a couple of projects together based off of some of his suggestions. it's great motivation - keep reminding us!

Does anyone else have any experience or advice with AppStore pricing? David's advice makes sense, and I have heard that theory before, but I haven't heard any actual examples yet. I have an app in the AppStore right now that is $1.99 and sells an average of 3-5 units a day. I am going to increase the price to $4.99 and see how I go... will keep you updated! My piece of advice is to use Twitter. I saw a sustained pick up in sales one I started promoting on Twitter and got in touch with two journalists (one from Forbes.com & one from The Huffington Post) who reviewed it for me.

First day after increasing (doubling) the price of my app to $4.99 and I sold... 3 units- exactly the same as when the price was lower! Excellent! Thanks again Dave! No I just need to work on getting those sales up...

Just a quick update if anyone is interested- I am selling the same number of apps on a daily basis since I doubled the price last week! I have changed nothing else and done no extra promotion. Thanks again David!
