Is it possible to create a game using buzztouch?

I am very new to Buzztouch and apps in general, many many years ago I (dial up, DOS and Lord/BBS game) did a little fooling around with some code but nothing serious and ended up in the humanities field. regretfully the way my brain works is in order to understand how to build an app I really need to know what it is I have an idea of an educational game but have really no idea how to even begin it's creation and if it is possible with buzztouch. I am a little lost at present and am hoping for some input, I have taken the first tutorials at the U but I guess still not sure and have not been overly successful building a starter app either. Thanks

Hi @hatpindolly, Welcome to buzztouch! The truth is, literally anything is possible with buzztouch. The caveat is that some things take more work than others, and some things will require additional coding beyond what buzztouch already gives you. If you are comfortable writing Objective-C or Java code, and maybe even Javascript or jQuery, you'll literally find that the skies the limit using the foundation that buzztouch provides. In order to more fully answer your question, we would need to know a bit more about how the game would work. There's no "game" plugin at the moment, but a lot of people have made super successful apps using the Interactive Quiz plugin. So, let us know some details, and we can help you out more! Mark

Sheri just put a little game into the iOS Big Green Egg app. She based it on David's tap bug exercise on how to make a plugin. My own vision is to be able to make educational game plugins, but I will need a few more months of study. If you have something specific in mind I would love to try to help.

I was just going to say that @hatpindoll needs to watch how to create a plugin with the "bug". On the learning center go to plugins at youtube and you will find the video. LA

@hatpindolly Welcome to buzztouch! If you can think it...you can make it with buzztouch. Will it be "easy" NO....it will not seem that easy at first. There is a great deal of reading and DOING. Buzztouch is a great way to learn how to program for ios and android. If you are still here and interested after saying it will work...will actually doing work....then you are in the right place. If you are looking to drag and drop things perhaps looking at programs called gamesalad. But with anything that has "shortcuts" you are giving up control. Buzztouch is an INDEPENDENT way to run your mobile business. Here is some link's that Susan was talking about: GAME SCREEN: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/big-green-egg/id578166389?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D2 TUTORIAL: Created a http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCqIrNTusOA&list=PLD0A0EA5DD8159A35&index=2&feature=plpp_video Best of luck to you and excited to see your creations! Thank you all very much, I started watching the you tube video about the bug game plug in and will be watching the rest soon, I am not comfortable writing code but am willing to learn, what language would people recommend to start with in writing a plug in?
