Xcode 4.5 Error

Thought it was time to try out the new Xcode to see how things worked with the BT apps. Got this error on the BT_rotatingNavController.m semantic error use of undeclared identifier 'ADBannerContentSizeIdentifierLandscape' Anyone? Thanks Miguel

Yup, deprecated methods. These warnings are not errors but Xcode's way of saying, "hey, in the future, this method will not be supported anymore." Options: --Build for iOS 3.0. It will work on later devices but won't show deprecated warnings. --Force compiler to ignore this warning with a #pragma statement. Google "suppress Xcode depracted warnings" --Nothing, not a big deal

In this version you can only select to build for 4,3 and up.

Go to Xcode > Preferences > Downloads and install debugging support for older iOS versions. I'm on 4.4 not 4.5 but this allows me to go to 3.0

Cant seem to be able to solve it. Cant seem to understand how to use the pragma statement.

So someone suggested do this: "clear the adbanner error by adding #import <iAd/iAd.h> to the .h file where the error is at the top of the page" It worked. Cheers.

"Adding #import <iAd/iAd.h> to the .h file" works for me. Thanks for posting this solution
