Ever want to upload 2+ files into your application at the same time? So have I. With that in mind, I created the 'Smug Multi-File uploader' for self hosted servers and am releasing it to the BT community in a "give back to a swell bunch of folks/warm and fuzzy thingy." Just no group hugs, ok? It allows you to select a 'type' of file (image, doc, php, vid, aud) and upload as many as your system can deal with in one fell swoop. https://buzztouchmods.com/downloads.php?cat_id=2&download_id=48 Installation couldn't be simpler. Well, I suppose it could, but it's still not difficult. Download this zip file. FTP the uncompressed directory to your BT Root. Then follow the instructions on the images included to install it into your control panel. Now start uploading with vengeance. Cheers! -- Smug There isn't a whole lot of error correction; if you try to copy a file that is already there, it may conk out, but it won't harm your system; it just won't copy past that file. Good stuff. I know lots of folks wish that was in the BT panel! Very ueful and nice interface. Does this mod your CP screen so you can select these new image types too while working in a project? Can we add other file types? I'd like to be able to upload .zip files thru the panel to store SDK's for quick access when I work remotely. I didn't realize I'd be building my own repisotories of these. I'm just FTP them up to a folder now. and what modding the CP to allow larger file sizes? I know David set some limits you see n server settings. I've not jockeyed with it but can imagine vids crossing that pretty quickly! and this reminds me to look at Raveys Screen Shot Generator again sive i upgraded!

You can add it into your control panel... And it will be there while you're working on your apps... I suppose a 'future mod' might be tying it to a current project, but it's inception was outside of the BT framework, so I list all the apps available... It's not a biggie, I don't think. The script determines max uploaded filesize; you can make it larger. There isn't a whole lot of 'error correction' so, you can upload zip files, I suppose. You can also load documents in the images folder and other 'incorrect' things, lol! It's not pretty but it is functional, which is my usual goal. Cheers! -- Smug
