google removed all of my apps from goole play!

Does anyone know what causes this? I read somewhere it could also relate to the permissions set in the manifest, some permissions are not allowed as they give the app access to install shortcuts etc, try a google search to find out why others have been removed for same reasons. it is a bit of a worry if you had no ads in and still got removed. perhaps ask for clarification as seems odd. hope you get it sorted

Scringo is ok since it shows ads within the app and it has a clean sdk. But i am doubtful about pingjam. Pingjam says its sdk is compliant with the googles new ad policy but i doubt it. The reason given for removal of your app is "Violation of the System Interference" and i think that pingjam somehow violates this term. You are lucky that google has not terminated your dev account. Be careful next time with the ad networks that you use in your app.

the best advice for anyone I think is to stick with admob only till all the problems arising from the new policy are resolved, ad networks dont have to worry too much as it is not them who get banned from google, they can catch a ride on the back of other developers till they get it right. the ONLY 100% safe option at this time is Admob.

There are many ad networks which have clean sdk's other than admob. One of such ad network is Applovin which pays you more revenue than admob. Another one is inmobi. Other networks which are compliant with googles new ad policy are airpush, startapp, tapcontext etc. I use applovin, airpush and tapcontext in all of my android apps. I really prefer applovin banner ads over admob banner ads, use tap context for fullscreen ads and then i use airpush for using the app wall. Have more than 56 android apps live at this moment on playstore and have no problem with any of them...

System Interference:An app downloaded from Google Play (or its components or derivative elements) must not make changes to the user’s device outside of the app without the user’s knowledge and consent. This includes behavior such as replacing or reordering the default presentation of apps, widgets, or the settings on the device. If an app makes such changes with the user’s knowledge and consent, it must be clear to the user which app has made the change and the user must be able to reverse the change easily, or by uninstalling the app altogether.Apps and their ads must not add homescreen shortcuts, browser bookmarks, or icons on the user’s device as a service to third parties or for advertising purposes.Apps and their ads must not display advertisements through system level notifications on the user’s device, unless the notifications derive from an integral feature provided by the installed app (e.g., an airline app that notifies users of special deals, or a game that notifies users of in-game promotions).Apps must not encourage, incentivize, or mislead users into removing or disabling third-party apps except as part of a security service provided by the app.

True many other ad networks should be fine, I only meant that admob is the only one that can be 100% trusted with no doubts over compliance, I think others should be fine though. scringo uses applovin for its ads too i believe so that should be a good choice. I just dont fully trust all the networks that claim to be ok simply because google will not give them any kind of guarantee that their networks are compliant.

As i doubted, your app was removed coz it did not comply with the new ad policy. Since scringo is in compliance with the new ad policy, pingjam might be causing this trouble for you. Here is link to one of my android apps which uses all the above 3 ad networks which i mentioned. -https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wordbox.nigeriaRadio

Now that you mention it. App-Bucks ads have been pushing ads even when the app is not open. Violating this policy of Google's Ad Walls and Interstitial Ads Interstitial ads may only be displayed inside of the app they came with. Forcing the user to click on ads or submit personal information for advertising purposes in order to fully use an app is prohibited. A prominent and accessible target must be made available to users in any interstitial ad so they may dismiss the ad without penalty or inadvertent click-through. Be wary if anybody see's this and use them.

Yes I had app bucks in one of my apps. Also I figured out that they did not delete my apps that had no ads or just had scringo. I got confused because I had a similar app I lost a key too so I unpublished it and uploaded a new version. The app that I lost the key to usef to have pingjam and the Pa kage name is almost the same.its off by a letter.google mustve gotten confused as which one to suspend

Pingjam in essence modifies the device properties since it places ads while placing a phone call. So i am of the view that its not in compliance with googles new policy. I saw that one of the officials from Pingjam states that its in compliance but i strongly doubt that statement.. You come to know such things only when someones apps are taken down or even worse when dev a/c gets suspended bygoogle. Now the interesting part is googles emails are all automated and are very vague as to reason for taking down the app or suspension of a/c. Moreover even when you appeal them they take about 3-4 weeks to reply and answer your appeal. So safer side is not to use any ad networks which are either new in market or are less familar lest you are willing to put your dev a/c at risk of suspension.

Hi people, we already came out with an official statement about the situation. We are working with our contacts at Google to resolve this situation. I will keep you posted here on the forum when we have more news.

Hello Ran, Its nice to know that you are working on resolving the situation and hope it gets resolved soon. Google's policies are sometime confusing to most of the developers since they do not understand legal terms and legal language. The ultimate responsibility then shifts upon the ad services to make sure that the developers are not risking their apps / developer account by integrating their services in their apps. Thanks for the clarification.
