Tuto iOS: getting Hype, Jquery and maybe other javascript libraries to work in Buzztouch.

Following from another post, here's how to get Hype animations, jQuery or other javascript to work in Buzztouch. Found on the net, I didn't write them. How to include javascript files in your project. This works with an awesome program called Hype; cool for building animations, html5 websites) http://tumultco.com/hype/ I tested this method and it works in Buzztouch with a html doc screen. (UIWebView) Also look at the sample.html with sample.js file in the html sample file included in your BT download to see how the javascript is referenced. Tuto found here : http://system-log.tyr.org.uk/2012/02/08/using-tumult-hype-for-ios-game-titles/ and how to exclude js files from compiling here: (otherwise it won't work) http://www.chrisboyd.net/2011/11/about-javascript-files-and-xcode-4/ Same process worked for me with jQuery (including the js library for offline apps). Tested in iOS simulator for the moment, need to check with a real device. Hope this helps and happy reading !

Good stuff Paddy. Love the new avatar. Think I may have asked you before, is that the tri-colour the baby is sitting on? If so, HH!

Sorry MacApple, must have missed the post where you asked me before. Yep, it is, son went loose in the office one morning and took everything out of the drawers. He found the flag and his Mum took the photo. The flag is one we keep to give to friends, or Irish Pub's. Now and again I'm told "I'd love an Irish Flag", so I keep a couple in case. (We live in Corsica, island in the Med) He's a bit young to tell him that the flag shouldn't touch the ground. Next step, teach him to to draw a good Guinness. Avator was done in 2 secs, messing around with a new programme for making icons, etc, Art Text http://www.belightsoft.com/products/arttext/overview.php Sláinte,

Happy days, love the med, spent many a family holiday there and heading over this summer. Tell him to send any bad pints he pulls over my way, all the bars round here do the wee shamrock in the head of the pint but half of them can't pull it properly. Oh well. Sláinte indeed!

lol, same here, they pull the pint in one go, draw the shamrock and look at you with a satisfied smile to stay "see, I know your Irish, so I pulled you a (warm) pint the way it should be".

Lmao, true story mate. Sad thing is I'm a Glasgow Celt and they just shrug. I get called Australian, Austrian, Irish, Welsh and German, seldom Scottish. Mind you my Celtic top confuses them. Loads of Irish bars in Kentucky though, some good and Irish owned some, well, just tacky.

Same here... Here, people ask me where I come from because I've a foreign accent. Home, people ask me where I come from because I've a foreign accent. Siri, just says "Sorry Paddy, I don't understand .... .... ..."

No not yet, it should probably work as I can see a compatibility tab for Android 4.0 and 2.3 in Hype. It should give you a warning if some animations are not compatible. Haven't tested though. Did you try ?
