Hi all- David and I will be starting a new regular feature, where David will answer a question from a forum post or discuss a topic of interest to the community. This is the first one, in kind of a rough format - http://youtu.be/QCiCMwiR9Ks As you would expect, David discusses much more than the original question, so there's some very valuable information for anyone developing in the Android environment. Take 20 minutes to be enlightened. As always, your feedback is very valuable. My concern for the community is that this has not been publicized enough. I know that everyone at BT is very privacy conscious so in an effort to inform existing users of events and new concepts you might consider adding an email selection of choice in member and non member email settings. An additional check box for users to receive relevant BT information. Many people do not follow the forums but would embrace receiving valued information concerning creating apps. Not everyone wants to learn development but all users want to build apps. David might consider a once per week email to participating users and members. Maybe even make a distinction in what gets sent out. Free accounts verses member accounts. I just think you can increase member participation by huge numbers with an added form of contact. People are not getting all that BT offers because the forum may be frightening to some and they need to be told of whatever is going on so they can embrace it. Think how many views the current 20 minute video would receive if you sent 200,000 emails. Long and short, people that are not up to speed with the goings on could be with a simple added check box in email settings. By the way 14 views so far. Free users would become members with direct email help in the form of a weekly topic. Just make a one email per week rule and you will have a good test environment set up on this theory.
