Hi Gang, I'll be writing another post in a minute about the latest Self Hosted package release - it's all sort of related. LOL. 2.1.8 will be released sometime tomorrow night (Tuesday evening on the West Coast). Push: You'll notice some changes in your control panel as it relates to Push. The first thing you'll notice is the "live" push is available for everyone now. The next thing you'll notice is a change in the way the "send to devices" are selected. We discovered and improved a bunch of things about how this works after monitoring some trends over the last 10 days or so. The biggest confusion we've been hearing was around "Production" or "Development" and how it all works. We've tried to make it a bit easier to undertand. These updates required changing some files in the control panel, AND SOME FILES IN YOUR iOS PROJECT AND / OR ANDROID PROJECT. Push's require three main processes... 1) The device contacts Apple or Google for a device token to use for Push messages. 2) The device registeres this token with your control panel. 3) You create messages and push them to "live" or "design" devices. This simple approach means that all the devices registered in your control panel need to be in "Live" or "Design" mode in your Xcode or Eclipse project. When the device registers, it sends this along so you know what devices you're sending too. So, the newly updated iOS and Android source code appends "Live" or "Design" to the register process and that's what you'll see in your control panel in the Registered Devices screen. When you're sending, you can send to either group, Live or Design. Generally speaking, all of your development gadgets should be compiled in Design mode. When you release for the App Store you use Live mode. Lastly: Before these changes, the control panel was not taking this into account and none of the registered devices were sending Live or Design along with their registration request. We updated all the existing devices to LIVE (in case they were in the app store). This means if you had registered a device you were using for testing, you'll need to do it again so it shows up in Design mode.

When my user's devices are registering, they all say design. Here is a screenshot: http://jworldhosting.com/Uploads/Images/DesignTokenProblem.png If I send in an update with "Live" mode, will these devices re-regester with "Live", or do I have to do something else to correct this problem?
