I found that when using a map location screen, if I have the show driving directions, if pressed, it does not open the new native maps app. It opens google maps on safari. It would not surprise me a bit if we see a new iOS 6 map APi with newly added functions, and removed functions. It sounds like opening driving directions in safari is cheezy! Lets hope they give us a way to open native maps with turn by turn routing, that would make the necessary code changes for maps worth it :-) Comments There are some unannounced changes, sounds like you've found one of them.
