Is There A Sliding Menu Plugin

Hey everyone, Most of the apps I use have the ability to slide the screen left or right to expose a menu. Is there a plugin that lets you do that within the Buzztouch framework? If there are suggestions for doing it another way please let me know. Thanks! David

There's not, but you can do a context menu in your app. It will show up as a button in the navbar, and clicking on it will show a pop-up menu.

@David are you talking about the facebook app type where you can swipe left or right to expose a menu or other screens? I've not seen one, but i do use the swipe features to expose left and right menus for my client via twitter bootstrap and wordpress, you can view the mobile version here http://mobile.drzla.com I have created an app using iPhone features so its not just a mobile web app. It's a hybrid app, just waiting approval from the app store. maybe one of our senior plugin developers can tackle this one. @Ed - this is exactly what I'm talking about. So are you saying you built the app outside of buzztouch to get this effect? Are you using something like jQuery Mobile to render this experience? Thanks! David

@Dave This was created with version 2.1.9 prior to me updating my self hosted server to v3.0. My Client Dr. Z app demo video, I just uploaded can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3EoBPot7dU&hd=1 This is a hybrid app, developed within the Buzztouch control panel using the following plugins: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8afj9iavjq4kuun/Dr%20Z%20LA%20Control%20Panel.jpeg 1. AT53 Video Player 2. PowerPoint Doc 3. Custom URL 4. Location Map 5. Menu with Image 6. Notepad Feature 7. Send Email 8. Call Us 9. PDF Doc 10. Launch Native App 11. Splash Screen The Main navigation + bootstrap mobile webapp site (jquery mobile) pulled in via the Custom URL plugin. I tried to balance out what is basic website info with any mobile phone features so it's part native + part webapp = a mobile app. Hope this helps, my second app on the old buzztouch core. I'm still in development to port this over for xcode5 and iOS7. There are a few tutorials online on how to create the side sliders. Depends on your knowledge of xcode though. Best Ed

This was most helpful. Thanks for sharing the plugins you used for this app. I'll see if I can replicate the functionality in my next app. Awesome job. David
