I'll be there! It's a weekend for my daughter, though (our main goal is the Taylor Swift concert in LA), but we can hang for an hour or so to eat a burger and say HI! Then it's off to the beach before we head home. Totally excited! Mark

My daughter, Samantha, who is 13, wanted me to ask if anybody coming had any kids (especially babies) they wanted to bring. For some reason, she thinks she's going to be bored hanging out with 10 geeks! But keep in mind that we're only hanging around for an hour or two. Mark

From reading the Yelp reviews of Smash Burgers, she will be plenty busy stuffing great food into her belly! :-) I am waiting for my 18-year old boy to give me his decision on attending. -- Niraj

Unfortunately she doesn't enjoy burgers (though that Smashburger has some of the best I've tasted). Fortunately there's a Mexican food place there, a pizza place, as well as an asian bistro. Lots of choices! Mark

Just a FYI for the attendees, salads and chicken items have also received high-praise from the Yelpers for Smash Burgers.

There's beaches just a few miles away...that's my daughter and I's goal. Ocean Beach is the best! In the immediate area, there's a nice walk along the nearby channel. And tons of shopping in the immediate area!

I'm bringing wife and 2 kids (15, girl, 13, boy). They wanted to know if there was something to do in the area while we Nerds..... well.... nerd-out for a few hours.

It's 3AM and Samantha and I just rolled into Tucson. A super uneventful drive back home, which is always good! I can't say enough good things about this meetup! It was amazing to meet everybody who attended. And the additional family members who came gave us a glimpse into the people who support all the time we spend in the forums! Some truly wonderful people! Thank you very much MrDavid and Jake for arranging this meetup. Many thanks to David for traveling all the way from Monterey to hang with us.
