Making a promo video for the android version of my app

I make promo videos for my iOS app using the XCode simulator -- no problem. Now, I'd like to make a video demonstrating the Android version of my app. Does anyone have any suggestions? How can I get a good looking Android phone on my computer screen? I guess I could search for a high quality Android phone picture and overlay screenshots ontop... but I would prefer live interaction.

You can use DDMS view in Eclipse and take screen shots from there. A large enough number of screenshots will enable you to make a good video in, say, Camtasia or any other decent video editor.

Good idea @Dusko, I've never thought to use DDMS. I use this that you might find useful.. http://sourceforge.net/projects/ashot/ Overview/instructions: http://www.mightypocket.com/2010/08/android-screenshots-screen-capture-screen-cast/ It's a bit slow and painful but does an ok job. It doesn't seem possible in android to use real video capture (although it might be possible with rooting?), what ashot does is generate a bunch of image files.
