Co-working / export-import project

Hi guys, I have someone developing an app on their self-hosted. After it is ready, I'd like them to send me the project so I can import into my self hosted and deploy, publish, look after the push notifications, make any future amendments, etc. Would someone there refer me a thread (couldn't find one) or kindly explain the process? Regards, MN

You can't really transfer apps between individual self hosted accounts like that. It's possible but you'll still have to do a fair bit or work once copied over. Not worth it for an app that is in development. If you are both working on the same project why not just have the users set up on one account? If you no longer want that user to have access to the app once built just revoke their privileges.

Another option is, if the app hasn't gone live yet, to copy the data from their account to your self-hosted install. They won't be able to see any changes you make after that point, but if you're just paying them for the up-front development, it might make sense. To do it this way, use my App Copier tool.

It's been on buzztouchmods.com for $25. But since that site is down, I'd be happy to make other arrangements to sell it to you. Send me a pm.

@MobNew I think the easiest if you are self hosted is to create the original master app on your self host and simply create a new user for the same project.

Hi @chris1, Please PM me with details? If amendments are needed, I guess I could export it, send it back to them, they work on it and resend me once again...? Thanks
