Left side of Title Bar discrepancies

I have many menus with lists in my app. On all, the top bar has a title on the first menu with an arrow on the left and Home on the right. If I click an entry in the list, the next screen will open up and here, on some screens, the left hand side of the top nav bar will have a left arrow with "Back" next to it, and some will have the left arrow with the title of the previous menu on it. I can see no differences with the setups of these different menus which would explain this. Anyone seeing what I am missing? Thanks. Steve

The <Back is the way IOS7 will default if it gets no other directions. on some of your screens you must have altered the navigation bar settings?

I see absolutely no differences in the nav bar settings in every screen I have, yet some have <Back and some have the previous screen's title. Weird.

Are you using a tableview as a menu that opens up to another tableview menu?

I'm using Menu Simple for all, the home screen menu, a menu with buttons, opening to other simple menus.

Is the first menu showing the <Back and the second level showing <"previous screen", or is it just random? Very weird

My home screen is a menu with buttons. When you click on the first button, s simple menu with 5 choices shows up. If you click on any of the choices a screen opens up with an HTML file. For this first button, all screens have the <back on the upper left. If you hit the second home button, I get a simple menu and all choices, if touched, open up to html screens where the left side of the nav bar has the title of the previous menu. ON the third button, a simple menu opens with four choices and here, three choices, if clicked on, give the title of the previous menu in the upper left, and one give me the <back!! Just crazy and as far as I can tell all nav bar items have the same setup.

Hi Stevek, I am having the same problems with my app and it's been driving me crazy! I finally decided to try to remove the BACK button on the left side of the top nav bar, and just use the right side button to take my user back to the main menu. I have an active post that you can keep an eye on if you'd like to try to remove the back button: https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=0204667A5B9CE24E1EC50EC&fid=BC70C36A743CD4FAD95D17F&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&currentPage=1 There is another post that has variations on removing the back button: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=A96D4D489F1DE0994AA7355&currentPage=5 I'll be keeping an eye on your posting in case you get it resolved. Good luck! Janeen

One thing I've done is make every screen have the Menu button on the right of the nave screen instead of leaving it blank and now all screens have, as the left button, not the <Back but the name of the preceding menu, which is fine for me as long as now every page is consistent. Still doesn't really solve the problem but I can live with it.
