Does app need wifi?

Does the app need wifi for it to be able to run properly?

Hey @acschcs, I think that depends on the particular App. I'm not sure if markets require it or not. LA

I hope not because what if people use the app on the go and is not on a contract?

Also, you're not responsible for how people choose to use their phones. Maybe if you're going to be using some heavy bandwidth, like streaming movies, you could put a warning in the app and/or the description. If you make users aware of the consequences, it's their choice.

Apps can be fully offline if everything is packaged with your binary. Depends on what functionality you are adding to the app. Agree with @raveyd It is not down to you to babysit how end users use their phone plans. Most people on pay as you go or the equivalent tend to know not to be streaming loads of videos.
