When changing the App icon it has created errors on Xcode

I have change the icon three times, and on the simulator the image has stayed the same as the first image i uploaded, i am now having difficulties on Xcode. xcode has been saying under the heading- Asset Catalog Complier Warning : The launch image set name "Launch image" is used by multiple launch... (it cuts of and i cant read the whole sentence) It also says under the heading- Asset Catalog Compiler Error : None of the input catalogs contained a matching app icon set named "AppIcon" does this one mean i should be calling the image i upload "AppIcon" Thank you so much to anyone that can help!!!!!!

If you expand the project on the left, there should be an image library for app icons, looking like the one in the screenshot. Open it and drag-n-drop appropriate sized images. https://www.dropbox.com/s/8qztai5o3kv09xw/Screen%20Shot%202014-08-01%20at%2023.56.52.png Also, regarding the Launch Image, that is your splash screen. There is a library under AppIcon for that too. Thanks Ed

thank you for your help, i was just wondering how i can view the screenshot, i tried putting it into the web URL like an internet search, but that didn't work. The screen i have is like this https://www.buzztouch.com/app/cp_v20/bt_app/bt_icon.php?appGuid=JAB34CF1FE22C5A80DA93B30E i'm not sure if that will work its just the url of the page when i'm trying to do it, i think i may only have a version 1 project. would it be possible to ask you to send me the screenshot possibly via email they don't seem to send the same on the forums: [email protected]

Thank you that screenshot worked :) I really do appreciate this help. i'm sorry to be a pain, i'm just scared if i put something in the wrong place it will stuff up and i wont be able to undo, so i just want to be sure. https://www.dropbox.com/s/uyb9n18l1wxgjj9/Screenshot%202014-08-02%2009.43.42.png https://www.dropbox.com/s/1bm3xz82e2mtmep/Screenshot%202014-08-02%2009.45.06.png The picture in the first screenshot was just me testing it out, the real image i want to use is different. I tried dragging the image i wanted to use into image.xassets and it just came up below the current applicon image heading. and then i just deleted what i added because i was scared i did it wrong

You're not being a pain.everyone on here are good people.Ed is a young genius. He'll have a good solution. From what I see you tried to put the icon as the launch image.if im not mistaken the launch image is the first screen that shows up when you launch your app. its sometimes called the splash screen. to change the icon you can either upload a new icon in the control panel in the "app icon" tab, then redownload the package.or delete the old icons in xcode in BT_Art > Icons. click on the folder under the run button to see the Bt_art folder. Then add your new ones. Dont know if you know or not, but you can take your 1024 x 1024 icon and upload it to this site: http://makeappicon.com/ to auto generate the sizes for both ios and android the icon names have to be named like this Icon_60.png. Use sizes 57,114,60,72,and 144. makeAppIcon already have most these named by the sizes and you can right click on the icons that dont and choose "get info" if they dont.

Following on from CMCOFFEE, where it says 56pt under each area, 1x the image is 56 pixels and 2x is double the size. The website recommended is brilliant for sizing. PS, thanks CMCOFFEE! Ed
