Mobile Forum for your app.

Found this and tried it with a custom URL. It's responsive quick and light. Looks great on an iPhone. http://esotalk.org/ Free and open source.

Looks nice. I used a MyBB forum with a mobile theme in one app an it is good but not perfect. This looks a lot slicker. Do you know I you can modify the CSS to blend in to your app?

Yes, there is a mobile.css and style.css in the download.

I assume on a server and then just have a custom URL screen in your BT app. That is what I did with my MyBB forum.

Is there a way (there always is) to use this to mirror another Forum? Fred

Hey all, This is a amazing find no doubt, I downloaded it, and I instantly fell in love with the innovative look and feel of it. It's definitively the best I've seen in a while. Awesome find @Paddy!! Just a small heads up however, I did some research on it, and it's been in-definitively halted (development) and apparently has some minor/major bugs - I'll be using the software regardless, and any bugs I'll try to fix and send the updates to whoever needs them (when and if I find them). Also I believe it uses a plugin system if I read some of the posts there right? :) David buzztouchmods.com

Yes, it's seems to be done by a student and has little time to maintain it. Great that the code is open but it's a bit far over my head. I simply hooked it up to a custom URL and it looked so good. Yes, there is a plugin system. Haha, you are thinking about a BT-Esotalk plugin ?

@MrDavid -- were you able to make improvements? Or made a plugin for BuzzTouch? I notice the forum software was updated in early Oct-2013, it is in active development! :-) -- Niraj

It was updated? That's awesome news! No, no "real" plugin, at this point I was just learning how to hack-it-up types, nothing of good quality. I'll check it out again through! If I remember correctly, it had some pretty slick code. David https://buzztouchmods.com/market

Please keep me posted if you come up with something. I tried Scringo too, but it's not really a good fit for my app. Asimple forum would be great. I tried to do something with Tal.ki. Here's it in a test app, http://postimg.org/image/vjtv1rhid/ It looks like I want, but it's not working great.
