Another plugin that I'm proud to have purchased! Lots of fun with classic Blackjack. I had a couple of issues using it within an app, not sure if it's an isolated incident or if others may have experienced them as well. 1) When I start a Blackjack game (on the bottom of the screen), the "Back" and "Gears" icon on the top disappear. Can't get them back unless I go back to the app main screen and select Blackjack again. 2) When I'm done playing Blackjack and go back to my app's main screen, the top navigation bar is gone. I have to restart the app to get it back (using Circle View List menu plugin). Nevertheless, the game itself works like a charm! Nicholas

Thanks GraciousWolf, For this first question, with the gears and back button, this is by design, so that it does not clutter up the playing table. After each hand, the user is presented the opportunity to go "back" (which will return to your previous screen, working the same as the other back button would)), and the gears icon which goes to the settings menu is only available when you first start your game... think of it as sitting down at a $5 table or a $25 table in a real casino... once you've sat down at the table, the table limits are set until you decide to get up and find another table to sit at (i.e., going out of the blackjack game and going back into it to start another session). As for the second issue, I cannot seem to duplicate it, but I don't have circle menu either. When using menu with image, I can go into the blackjack game, exit out of it using the back button, and my menu bars are still present. You can duplicate the results for comparison purposes by creating a new blank project, add the blackjack plugin to a menu item, and download and run it. If you find that it is something specific with Circle menu, let me know. I'm not sure what would cause that, as the blackjack plugin doesn't change the nav bars at all on a code level... everything is pushed through Buzztouch's built in views and uses the built in nav bars. Hey Angry Ninja, My pleasure, love the plugin. Point #1 makes total sense, I just wanted to make sure that it was by design to remove the clutter. ;) As for point #2, I tried using Blackjack through the Menu Simple and there is no navigation bar issue. It seems like the Blackjack game doesn't play well with the Circle List Menu plugin in terms of maintaining the navigation bar. Actually, it's not even that the navigation bar is gone completely, it just moves from the top of the menu and goes closer to the middle. Hope that makes sense. Hey again! Ignore issue #2 - for whatever reason it's associated with the background colour that I chose (black). Any other colour works great - it's a bizarre issue, but glad to have figured it out! Once more, excellent Blackjack game! ;) Nicholas

Hmmm, strange. I'll shoot a pm to Chris1 and see if he knows of any code in the circle menu that might conflict. In the meantime, maybe link it from a different menu or context menu. I've tried it with 5 different menu plugins that I have with no issues. Glad you are enjoying it. I've been waiting for a blackjack plugin since I started buzztouch, finally decided to make one, lol. Toying with the idea of a poker one, but the math is a little more complex than blackjack was... These would both pair well with mrdavids slot machine plugin on btmods to make a little mini casino

Nicely designed once again!

Nice plugin. When I start it within the app which has tab bar, the lower menu is half hidden. Tried to play with .xib files but no success. Any suggestions? Thanks, Bayram

Hi Bayram, You'll simply need to go to the blackjack screen in your control panel and under the tab bar section, set the tab bar to hidden on the blackjack screen. No modification to the code needed. It will only turn off your tab bar for the blackjack screen only, not the rest of your app. There's just too much screen real estate being used for the game to shrink it down for use with the tab bar on the screen as well (dealers, hand, players hand, results, command buttons, etc). Once the users press the back button to return to the other parts of your app, your tab bar will still be there... it just won't be visible while playing blackjack :)

In fact, the first thing I tried was to hide the tab bar from CP which does not make any difference. But I will try to reset xcode and simulator once more and see what will happen. Thanks for your support.
