The video is probably in a compressed format iOS/MediaPlayer framework can't natively handle. Looks like they have a API and some developer tools you can explore: http://developer.ustream.tv/home a quick glance at those docs and it looks like you just need to register a dev key, whip up a screen with a webview, call the API and you'd be rocking some UStream. Inspect element the video you want to stream. Find the .m3u8 file. Copy and paste this into the video player location and hey presto, live streaming from ustream on your video player :) Magic!
