Attn: Minnesota buzztouch community

I just established a buzztouch Minnesota Meetup group. If you live in or near the Twin Cities and are interested in meeting others in the buzztouch community, please join this group. It's free! Everyone is welcome. http://www.meetup.com/buzztouch-Minnesota-Meetup/ I look forward to meeting you all in person. It will be great to share experiences. I plan to use this group as a forum to plan a visit from David Book to the Twin Cities. Beyond that, we can use the meetup group for sharing war stories or for working sessions. Perhaps we can arrange for WebX sessions with David or other buzztouch community leaders. With the release of the plugins, I anticipate rapid growth for buzztouch in the near future. We can use this group to stay connected on the changes, learn from each other, and build our own businesses using buzztouch technology. If you have any thoughts about this, feel free to post here or send me a private message.

If I take the I-90 W for only 866 miles I'll make it there in about 14 hours and 56 mins driving! We'll have to meet up another time Susan, would love to chat over some hot chocolate (not much of a coffee guy!). Best of luck with the meetup, be sure to tell us how it goes! Cheers, David buzztouchmods.com

Minnesota is a very rural state, so Minnesotans are used to driving a long ways to get somewhere. But 866 miles would be a bit far.

I think this is a wonderful idea Susan, although I am here in Arkansas and as such it would be a bit of a jog for me. Perhaps what we need to do is have David put together a "training" or "seminar" for all buzztouch users...maybe out in Monterey (i have been there many times it is beautiful), or in San Fransisco a few miles north of Monterey (better in terms of airfare). Anyways, let me know how it goes. Cheers Al :-)

Hey @SusanMetoxen, Just thought of something....where do you guys plan to meet? Perhaps we could set up a GotoMeeting or something else like that where ever you all are, and then those of us who cannot be there physically could log on "virtually". You know Cam,, Audio, the whole bit...heck, David might be able to turn it into some sort of training tool for that matter. surely there is a way to do this, and if a bunch of geeks like us can't do that then who the heck can...lol. Anyways, I would certainly be all about attending via computer if we can make that happen. Cheers Al :-)

No clear plan, yet. I thought it would be fun to have existing buzztouch developers meet with David in the afternoon, and then have David speak to a larger audience in the evening. One thing I lost when I quit my day job was access to conference facilities! But there are lots of places to hold meetings. The trick will be to find the high tech facility.
