half-baked - need a developer?

I've gotten started laying out my app and am fairly confident I can get it all laid out and working. However - I don't have a MAC, so I'm not sure about using Xcode on PC. Also - don't really want to be a developer and pay the $99/year to have my app published - but I do want it published. So, what's my option? developers in here take my app and publish it for me? I'm sure there's some compensation there, but is that a possibility or normal?

As Mavericks is free, you can run that on a VM to compile it. As for the developer rights with Apple, I can't help with that, but I'm sure someone can or can recommend a service.

thanks Ed - Is Mavericks a PC based program that will interface with the BT software like Xcode? i'm looking to run it through testing to get what I want, then hand it off basically to be published.

Mavericks is an OS X version. You install Xcode on it. Use VirtualBox to install it.

Mavericks is the OS, not the machine. You can run a VM (Virtual Machine) on Windows which has Mac running inside it. I can produce a video / find a video if needed...

You can use the http://MacInCloud.com service. MacinCloud is a remote Mac rental service. Laptop, Desktop and Handheld users can access rented, Apple Manufactured Mac hardware through the Internet. Let me know if you need more help. -- Niraj

I've just signed up with macincloud and it's quite good - a bit slow at times and you have to get your head around how to use a mac after a lifetime on windows. how much is left to do on your app?

Fitmike I'd probably say that once you have downloaded the package from Buzztouch, then the real work actually starts. It's not quite as plug-and-play as we all might wish - though I must say I enjoyed the learning. I may be wrong and maybe some of the guys here could turn it all round in 30 minutes but I doubt it's as simple as getting someone to agree to compile and publish the app for you on their Apple account. More likely it would take days of communication with you and the developer, testing, de-bugging etc. So it would still cost you. Though the guys on here aren't expensive considering their skills and experience.
