adding json to themes

I've just discovered this! I am feeling my way at the moment, but it seems makes to make themes more extendable, in a way that approaches how it worked in BT 1.5. I'm not sure what you can and can't do yet. What would be cool would be to set different backrounds image for differnent plugins, e.g one image for a say the menu with image background and a differnt one for html plugins, a third background for button menu background. Is this viable?

In a convoluted way, yes. Your 'default' background image (or color) can be set via the 'theme' and then you can set screen background images (or colors) individually (screen by screen). However you can't say 'All HTML Screens' or any kind of 'grouping'. At least not from the control panel, yet. So if you have 5 screens, you can set the global background to 'myfav.png' yet specify a different background image (or color) for one particular screen. 4 similar and 1 different. Cheers! -- Smug If you were to alter the plugin 'code' you would affect all plugins of that type.
