Image in Navigation Bar

I'm making an app for both Android and iOS for my school (they asked for it), and I'm wondering how do I put an image in the Navigation bar. I plan to use the school logo and maybe a different font. If I can put an image, it wouldn't be too hard putting a different font in as i can use the text as an image. Here is a sample image of what I'm after: http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Media/Pix/pictures/2010/2/17/1266414974840/bbc-iphone-app-001.jpg Here the BBC Logo is in the logo is in the navigation bar.

There's a plugin for that called 'Menu with Image'

Yes. I know that. But that plugin just puts a header image in the menu. It does NOT put an image in the navigation bar.

Hey Annandale, Its actually fairly easy to do what you are asking. Here is a step by step guide provided by our good friend MGoBlue. http://jc-evans.com/blog/2012/08/04/adding-a-custom-image-to-the-nav-bar/

It is a sweet how-to. Dig around and you'll find his bottom tab bar customisation a well. Equally slick.

Would any of you guys know how to set a different image navigation bar for each screen. This works like a delight, but it will be set with one navigation bar for all screens. This is a massive help by the way and it works like a delight!
