My goal for this app is to sell it to a company who would like to invest more time for more capital based off of my original idea. I am looking for a quick and significant cash out. I will be offering 5% of that sale for assistance. I have a one of a kind idea that I firmly believe will spread quickly and effectively through the market place and have that addictive quality to keep users coming. Hey there, hopefully all the smart alecks wont prevent you from reading this. About 8 months ago I too had an killer idea that I couldnt bring to market myself. I researched "app creation funding". There are funding companies out there, and if you idea is really good you might be in luck. There are only an few of these out there, and they get an slew of contacts - so your idea really need to have legs to walk on. The conditions I found listed are pretty simple - they take over creation of your idea. They are usually experienced business people who has done this many times. They invest all or part of the expense of creating your app, if needed they also often help with finding other investors. Depending on if they pay all of the funding for your app you retain 25-50% of the value of your company. Not bad since your main job is providing the idea. My idea got pledged 50% of funding which is estimated in 20-30K. They will help raise the additional 50%. They are currently working on feasibility research, R&D and mockups to take to second round of funding. I retain 50% ownership. I had to pay some out of pocket to get this process started - given the price of developing this app, it wasnt an great sum. Just something to consider.
