I am ready to start compiling the plugin Wish List. Feel free to dream big, but please be patient as it may take some time to accomplish this. Here is the template for the list. Please fill out all of these fields if you can, because it will make our list a lot better. I used one on my list to give you an idea of how to fill it out--the memory match game. For the OS field, please state if you want Android, iOS, or both. PLUGIN NAME: Memory Match DESCRIPTION: The memory match game is also known as the concentration game, and evolved from a card game. All cards are face down, and the user picks two. If they match, the cards are removed from the game. If not a match, the cards are flipped back over. As a plugin, the back of the cards and front of the cards need to be customizable in the control panel. If possible, the game should have allow for a couple size choices--maybe 12 cards and 24 cards. My dream plug-in (when I have a chance) Plug-in Name: SMS Location Description: Users can use this plug-in to SMS their Geo-coordinates to another cellular phone in the form of a Google Map URL. Primarily I want to use it on my island to locate tourists who go hiking in the jungle and then get lost. They don't know where they are, we don't know where they are, and it takes hours, and sometimes over a day, to locate them. This could reduce the time it takes to locate them. Keep in mind after WWII Japanese infantryman Sgt Yokoi hid out in our jungles for 30+ years after the war, until the late 70's. It's pretty dense in some places. OS: iOS/Android Now, I haven't touched this project. So, if someone wants to do it, great. I'll be your first customer. PLUGIN NAME: Contact List DESCRIPTION: A screen that shows a list of contacts or names. This is the screen seen on the native ios contacts app. It would go well with the contact card plugin. Its benefit is the ability to quickly search by alphabetical order. OS: Both Android and iOS

PLUGIN NAME: Multiple Splash Screens DESCRIPTION: Rather than the same pic everytime you load an app it's selects a random png file from a selection of say 8 files everytime you load the app. OS: Both Android and iOS I created one of these for a testapp so, fully aware of my abilities, it is pretty straightforward. However I couldn't figure out how to get around the code to make it work in my BT app so had to ditch the idea.

@RobK - I'll take a stab at it - sounds pretty straightforward.

Not sure I understand about the db-is it a SQL db on a webserver or something native to the app? What kind of output should it be?

SQL db. I can make a login page somewhere on my website for a database and then use the link to URL plugin to allow the user to access it but it doesn't look very slick even with a mobile site. A plugin wouldn't need to load the screen either which would also look more professional.

Why not use jquery mobile if you're going to a web page anyway?

Hello. My wish list..... Name- Calendar Description- a calendar that the user can add events, travel dates, dining reservations, flight numbers, resort confirmation numbers etc. The calendar would be part of the app so the user does not have to leave the app to store or retrieve events. OS- iOS for sure but Android is welcome too ;-) Name- MS office editable excel and word docs Description- a version of the current excel and word plugins that the user can edit and save to the app as a different named document or spreadsheet while keeping the original document or spreadsheet available for editing later. To add on Calypso's idea, you could have two modes. One where the developer makes dates, and the end user only is read only. Or where the end user gets read+write.

Name: RSS Feed Plugin Description: Pretty much the same thing as the RSS feed plugin in Buzztouch v1.5. My app that's on the iTunes App Store right now runs on several different plugins by the main feature of the app uses RSS feeds, and I cannot make an update to it using the v2.0 software because there is not an RSS plugin. If it were going to be different from the v1.5, the only thing that I would hope it would have would be more customization such as the layout and appearance of articles from feeds in the app. OS: Definitely both iOS and Android. I recently discovered that the RSS plugin in v1.5 does not work for Android, so I would hope that if someone made an RSS plugin, it would work for both. Name: Event List Description: This plugin should allow the backend user to create and update and event list via the control panel, sorted by date, have a small logo of event (linked to url to enable updates), details like, date/time, venue, short description ( header 2 lines), possibly long description, contact info , website url of event, mail direct from app, call direct from app. OS: iOS mainly, Android for others... Also keen on the checklist plugin, I have had it developed, @Kittsy is making it into a plugin, could use some assistance in getting rid of some bugs, but having seen the app "Clear" ( https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/clear/id493136154?mt=8) if someone can make that a plugin it would be an awesome plugin to have available... One more addition, not as important as RSS feeds but others in the forum have mentioned it before: Name: Favorite Screen Description: Allows users to select several screens from an app and make them "favorites." These favorite screen would be easily accessible on the home screen. I've seen this used in this app (http://bleacherreport.com/mobile) where users can select their favorite teams and put those on the home screen. OS: Both Again, just thought I'd add this since I've seen a post every so often about this.

@smug I have just created your dream plugin for ios. I will call it location share. It has a Mapview at the top that zooms to the user location. It has a share button to press. When pressed an action sheet appears gives options to share your location with a googlemap url , with facebook, twitter, email and sms. I guess this will do what you need and others could use this for a foursquare experience of here I am.

Works fine on my device. Looks cool. Good job. Can you make a strobe function?

Most plugins that were pending have missing pieces. A few are almost ready. I am working on a list of plugins in development as well, but it may not be a public list. Developers may not want to share their work in process. For example, a developer may want to make a certain plugin, but find it to be much harder than he or she thought it would be and then give up. But I imagine the list we all just made will be very helpful to the developers, especially when we find a way to prioritize it for them.

Couple of questions on this. Who will decide the pricing of these plugins the developer or BT team or both? and Will it be based on any particular criteria?
