Alternatives to Yahoo Pipes?

Hi, I currently use Yahoo Pipes to merge many RSS feeds (usually around 10) into one feed, and then use tools on there to remove duplicate articles and only have articles with certain keywords. Unfortunately, RSS feeds made with Yahoo Pipes are very, very slow to load. I was wondering if anyone knows of alternatives to Yahoo Pipes to merge all of these RSS feeds. Thanks, David

Not sure but I know there was a discussion on this before though. Try searching with advance search. LA

I have never used yahoo pipes, but I hear it is pretty solid. I do know there are other solutions out there that allow you to mash multiple RSS feeds into one. If you rely on an external service, there is the risk that something changes without you being told and performance can fluctuate. If you google 'rss mash', there are several solutions out there. Question is, do you want use (and maybe pay) for a service to do this for you? Or are you prepared to have more control and run something on your own server? Alan

Hi everyone, Thanks for your responses. I'll check out all the links you guys sent- thanks for those! @AlanMac- I'm certainly willing to merge the RSS feeds on my own, but I'm not an expert with all of it so I may need to use a service to help me as I've done with Yahoo Pipes. Thanks again everyone, David

You might have some luck with import.io. I haven't used it but have heard some good things - and their support is helpful.
