First time I've used this plugin. My control panel refuses to let me edit anything. If I try, I get the following error message A problem occurred while saving the entries (1). The results were not valid JSON. An error ocurred in running the fnExecuteNonQuery() method in utilityFunctions.php (6) I get this even if I don't edit anything and just try to save. Plugin works though!

BT Hosted. Sorry about that. I have no idea how to fix that; but the BT folks are aware. At least, Chris is. Self hosted: no problem. BT hosted: problem. I hate it when that happens; I can't do anything about it. Cheers! -- Smug

Yep, it is BT Hosted, which is where my test app lives, but I am planning to eventually build the app on my self hosted, if that helps?

CakeBit may be onto something... Smug- Perhaps the issue is with the actual name of the plugin: <Smug's Message Location> Can anyone at BT confirm if this would be an issue?

That's not the issue - not sure what is yet. It's on the BT core bug list though.

@Smug - never thought my self hosted would work when my BT hosted doesn't lol. Glad it is a known issue so nothing I can do on my BT hosted, but glad to hear it will be OK on my self hosted. @cakebit, @NCbuzz,the apostrophe marks are only in the title of the plugin, but not in my screen name, nothing I can do about this. @Chris1 - thanks, as it is logged on a core bug list, I presume no need for me to update on buzztools.com. Still seems to be an issue on BT Hosted, so I moved my code to my self hosted and I can confirm that it works OK there. I just wondered if there is any news on this? Alan

No news from Me, sadly. I don't have any control of the backend of BT hosted… However, if someone were creative, using Stobes snippet keeper could probably work out to someones advantage. Cheers! -- Smug

Ouch- three months later and still waiting on BT. I guess in 4-6 weeks I have to make the decision whether to leave this cool plugin in my app or pull it. There a few changes that I needed to make in the Control Panel before release, but still can not save. Is there anyone other than David who can look into the server side?

This issue got closed as David wasn't able to reproduce it when he went to go look at it. Figured Smug must've fixed it. I'll try to verify again.

The problem only happens on BT Hosted and seems to be consistent. By the way,could we have something like your buzz-tools for core bugs and fixes please Chris? It would give us mortals better visibility for core issues.
