Great plugin - I was however having issues the emailToAddress not populating no matter what I configured or tried out (Android) and various email clients.
My resolve - edit the App_rater.java in Eclipse:
1. find the handle button clicks section; public void
2. locate the line i.putextra line where it specifies emailToAddress
3. Change the line to reflect:

i.putExtra(android.content.Intent.EXTRA_EMAIL, new String[]{Your [email protected]});

4. replace YourEmailAddress:where-ever.com with your prefill address as needed.
5. Save and package :)

This sorted it for me across all the Android devices I have tested.

Just testing this in the iPhone 6.1 Simulator in xcode 4.63. I made sure to use the link created by http://itunes.apple.com/linkmaker. Easy enough so far, but...

When I try to rate my app in the simulator, I get: Safari can not open the page because the address is invalid - This may be expected, but thought I'd ask.

Doesn't work for me for iOS devices. Tried everything but the plugin just won't work. Tried contacting the developer and no response. Not great!

A great way to obtain feedback for android apps as so many devices its impossible to know how app will behave on some of them.

Excellent plug-in. Finally got a chance to add it to a couple of apps.

The best part is how this opens up a direct link to the app on the App store if you build the URL using the itunes link maker.

Use it to access your own app and read reviews, no more clicking on app store and then searching for the app.

The feedback to send email to the developer is a feature Apple should implement to give ALL developers a chance to communicate with unhappy users.
