Hi guys, I have a few New Years resolutions, and part of that is to give back to the buzztouch community. You guys have given me my entire life, and for that I am eternally grateful. In addition, I'm so so proud to call many of you not only friends, but family. I'm going to be doing a thing I'm calling "BT30", where I post a new thread once a day on buzztouch with a contribution for 30 days. Unfortunately I can't make the San Diego meetup. I'd love to go, but would be coming from the east coast, and it would either be pay for the plane ticket or payoff some of those charged christmas presents, hehe. Dang priorities! Hopefully I'll be able to make the next one.

Please in your BT30 posts, consider How to add Admob Interstitial Ads to an Android BT v3 Project in Eclipse (I am really finding this tough in my new project as I could only add the banner ads)

David, you are such a great leader! What a great idea.

An excellent idea. If I were you, though, I would also publish these gems of knowledge on my own site, preferably in a blog. And I'd also start building lists of people who would follow these gems -- emails, Twitter, Facebook page, RSS feeds from your blog and so on. Once you have an RSS feed ready, publish at least an Android app which will be fed from that feed. (We are in the business of building apps -- right!? -- and in the habit of using our own apps -- right!? -- right?) In the app, I wouldn't let people in unless they provided their email address (the login script). And I'd automate the entire thing as much as possible so that you publish in one or two places and a bunch of emails is sent to people on all those lists. For instance, in Aweber, you can set it up so that your new blog post is automatically sent out to the entire list. People who like what you do may one day become your customers, provided you are still in touch with them, hence the necessity of building lists.

@Dusko yup I would normally agree but this personal project is more about helping the community then for my own personal gain, I think posting them directly to buzztouch would contribute more than any other method. Cheers, David
